Who should get Strrretched?

Everyone! Whether you’re sedentary or always on the move. A marathoner or a power walker. 8 or 80. That being said, if you have an injury that you are concerned about, please consult a doctor before getting Strrretched.


What if I'm Injuried?

If you have an injury, we advise you to consult a medical professional to get their seal of approval on an activity like stretching. Once cleared…see you at Strrretch!


Get I get Strrretched if I'm Pregnant?

Getting Strrretched can be the key to working out the tight spots when mobility is limited. We advise you to ask your doctor if you have specific concerns, but otherwise, we will work with a plan that makes you comfortable and feeling your best. 


What If I'm Not very Flexible?

While we don’t expect you to do the splits after one session, we do believe that stretching is good for everyone, especially those who are “flexibly challenged.” Our stretchers work with each individual to customize a stretch for your starting point and goals.


Are your Strrretcher's Certified?

All Stretchers have bodywork expertise and are certified in our proprietary Strrretch Method. They come from a variety of backgrounds, including personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction and professional dance. They are then trained by our meticulous master Strrretchers.


Do you take Insurance?

We do not currently accept insurance but many of our happy customers submit their treatments to their insurance for reimbursement, please check with your insurance to see if they support alternative and holistic treatments.


Do you offer Memberships?

Yes, we offer  monthly memberships and packages. We can talk more on your first Stretch.


What is a Typical Strrretch Session Like?

We ask about your lifestyle, goals, areas you want to focus on and then we get to it. Depending on the stretch type (and time) you choose, you’ll get a deep, but heavenly hands-on stretch like you’ve never had before. Expect your Strrretcher to stay in communication with you throughout your session to make sure you are comfortable and pain-free.


Do I need to warm-up beforehand?

No. Our method is an active, dynamic stretch which provides increased blood flow to the muscles, so no warm up necessary. 


Should I get Strrretched before or after a workout?

Both have their benefits. A pre-workout stretch warms up your muscles, can reduce risk of injury and boost your performance. A post-workout stretch speeds recovery by flushing out metabolic waste, increasing blood flow and lengthening muscles that have just been contracted. It’s also super relaxing.


Does it Hurt?

Never! Our stretches feel soooo good! Your Strrretcher will gently ease you into each stretch and will consistently check in with you to make sure you are comfortable.


What do I wear to get Strrretched?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in, much like you’d wear to an exercise class (think loose fitting pants, leggings, a t-shirt). We also prefer that you wear socks. 


What is the benefit of a Strrretch session compared to yoga, massage, and physical therapy?

We are big proponents of all of those forms of self-care, but one-on-one dynamic stretch is unique in that it provides one-on-one dedicated time to elongate your muscles and improve flexibility.


How early should I arrive for my session?

We recommend arriving 5 minutes prior to your appointment to check in and change (if need be). All sessions start and end on time. We run a tight schedule, so If you arrive late, your session will get shortened...and no one wants that. If it’s your first session, please arrive at least 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork, get an intro and speak with your Strrretcher about specific goals.
